What's This About:

Buy the NuFACE MINI+ if you want a simple, compact device for the face and neck, and buy the TRINITY+ if you want more control, a Boost setting and attachments for the eyes, lips and fine lines.

This comparison covers every difference that matters, such as:

- price, starter kit against starter kit

- settings and the TRINITY+ Boost

- attachments for eyes, lips and lines

- size and session time

- which one suits you

and many more!

We make PureLift, a competing device, so this comparison sticks to what each brand publishes and says plainly where each one wins.

Key Points:

On NuFACE's site the MINI+ Starter Kit is $250 and the TRINITY+ Starter Kit is $395, with a TRINITY+ Complete Set at $595.

The MINI+ has three intensities, while the TRINITY+ has three frequencies and intensities plus a Boost that NuFACE says adds up to 25 percent power.

Only the TRINITY+ takes attachments, including a lip and eye attachment and an LED red light wrinkle reducer.

NuFACE describes about five minutes for a full routine on both devices.

Both use NuFACE's own gels, from $35, and neither publishes its output.

The short answer

MINI+ if you are new to microcurrent, travel often or want the lowest cost way into NuFACE.

TRINITY+ if you want more settings, the Boost, or the option to add attachments for the eye area and lips.

Every figure comes from the brand's own website or listings, checked in October 2026. Prices change often, so confirm before you buy.

Settings and Boost

The MINI+ has three intensity levels. The TRINITY+ has three frequencies and intensities, and its Boost adds up to 25 percent more power, according to NuFACE.

More settings help if you want to adjust by zone, but neither model publishes the current behind each level. Why that matters is in our article on publishing output.

Attachments

The TRINITY+ is built around interchangeable heads. NuFACE lists a lip and eye attachment and an LED red light wrinkle reducer, sold in the Complete Set or separately.

The MINI+ has a single fixed head for the face and neck. If the eye area and lips are a priority, that difference alone can decide it.

Size and routine

The MINI+ is small enough for a handbag, which NuFACE pitches to frequent travelers. The TRINITY+ is larger and easier to hold for longer sessions.

Both take about five minutes for a full routine, according to NuFACE.

What both cost to run

Both are designed around NuFACE's own gels and activators, starting at $35. Add replacements to the yearly cost. See our gel for NuFACE article.

Results

No study compares the MINI+ and TRINITY+ against each other, and the results you see depend more on consistent use than on the model.

A randomized controlled trial by Kavanagh and colleagues, published in 2012, measured the effect of facial electrical stimulation after twelve weeks of regular use. What NuFACE results look like is in our NuFACE before and after article.

Our full reviews are in our NuFACE Mini review and our NuFACE TRINITY+ review.

If neither fits, a third option

Both devices share gaps that matter to some buyers: neither publishes its output, both need NuFACE's own gels, and neither offers a stronger EMS setting.

We make PureLift, so weigh this accordingly. Our devices run nanocurrent at level 1, microcurrent at level 2 and EMS from level 3 to 10 on one dial, publish their output at a stated load, up to 7 mA at 500 ohms on PureLift Face, and work with any water-based conductive serum. PureLift Face is $499 and cleared under K190269.

If the two devices above suit you, buy one of them. If you want a stronger setting or a published output, see our direct comparisons: PureLift vs NuFACE, PureLift vs ZIIP HALO, PureLift vs FOREO BEAR and PureLift vs Medicube Age-R.

Safety

Do not use any facial current device if you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, if you are pregnant or if you have epilepsy, and skip broken or irritated skin. The full list is in our safety article.
