Bio-Therapeutic is one of the oldest names in professional microcurrent, and it publishes no output figure for the bt-sculpt anywhere we could find.
This article compares the two on what decides the result you actually see, such as:

Key Points:
The bt-sculpt GEN2 is priced behind a professional login, and the company's own launch release put it on Amazon at $395.
Bio-Therapeutic publishes no microamp, milliamp, frequency or waveform figure for the device, only the phrase frequency specific Suzuki Sequencing and five power levels.
Its clearances exist, filed by parent company Micro Current Technology of Seattle, including K252218 and K233525, as 510(k) Statements rather than Summaries, so no specification document is public.
Bio-Therapeutic describes its own microcurrent as sub-sensory and imperceptible, and treats muscle fatigue as a failure mode rather than a goal.
PureLift Pro Plus is $899, publishes 9 mA at 500 ohms with a 4 microsecond pulse width, and is cleared under K221443.
Who Bio-Therapeutic is
The company has been building microcurrent equipment since 1974 and its devices are in treatment rooms worldwide.
The bt-sculpt GEN2 is the handheld version of that lineage, with a self-tensioning probe and pre-programmed sequences drawn from decades of protocol work.
That history is worth something real, and a practitioner buying into a system with training and service behind it is making a sensible purchase.
None of what follows is an argument that the device is poorly made.
Why there is nothing to look up
A 510(k) can be filed as a Summary, which publishes a specification, or as a Statement, which does not.
Bio-Therapeutic's filings are Statements, so there is no public document giving output, frequency or waveform.
Combined with a product page that publishes no figures either, the result is that a buyer has no number to check, at any price point, from any source.

The wording worth checking
The bt-sculpt product page describes the device as the FDA approved bt-sculpt GEN2, and the site carries a footer badge reading FDA Registered Medical Device Manufacturer.
Approved is the wrong word for any device in this class, because approval is a pathway reserved for higher-risk devices and no facial toning device goes through it.
Registered describes a factory on a list rather than a review of the device.

Sub-sensory by design
Bio-Therapeutic states that its microcurrent is sub-sensory, which means it is imperceptible, and warns elsewhere against equipment delivering excessive current that can fatigue facial muscles.
That is a coherent philosophy and it is shared across the professional microcurrent world, with 7E Wellness saying the same about its own devices.
It also means no setting on the device contracts a muscle, which is the thing a buyer hoping for visible lifting most needs to understand.
Kwak's split-face work found the microcurrent side improved eye-wrinkle volume and dermal density while the EMS side improved lifting measures (10.52660/jksc.2023.29.6.1505), which is the cleanest demonstration that neither band replaces the other.
What Pro Plus adds
Pro Plus carries seven technologies on one dial: Infusion, iontophoresis, nanocurrent at level 1, microcurrent at level 2, EMS from level 3, PDM and PDM++, the bipolar pulse, with the diamond-faceted probe.
Levels 1 and 2 put you in the same band the bt-sculpt occupies, so nothing is given up by adding the eight levels above it.
Pro Plus reaches 9 mA at 500 ohms, the strongest output in our range, and runs on any water-based serum rather than a proprietary conductor.
It is cleared under K221443 and made in Japan in an ISO 13485 facility that has been building medical devices since 1987.
Which to buy
Buy the bt-sculpt if you are a practitioner invested in the Bio-Therapeutic system, if the protocol library and the support matter to you, and if sub-sensory work is what you want to deliver.
Buy PureLift Pro Plus if you want both bands in one device and want the output published at a stated load so you can compare it with anything else.
If you run a treatment room, the two are complementary rather than competing, since the muscle band is a service a microcurrent machine does not offer.
