This is every output figure we could find for 33 devices, with a note on whether the brand publishes it where you buy, files it with the regulator, or does not publish it at all.
This article covers what actually decides the answer, such as:
- which devices publish an output figure on their own page
- which publish one only in a regulatory filing
- which publish nothing at all
- why a figure without a stated load is not comparable
- how to use the table when you are deciding between two devices
and many more!
We will keep this page current, and we will include our own figures in it whether or not they win.
Key Points:
Of 33 devices, six publish an output figure on their own product page and two of those state the load or distance it was measured at.
A further seven publish real figures in their FDA filings and nothing on the page where the device is sold.
The remainder publish wavelengths, LED counts, programme counts and mode names, none of which tell you how hard the device works.
Current devices are listed in milliamps or microamps, light devices in mW/cm2 and J/cm2, and the two groups are not comparable with each other.
PureLift publishes 7 mA at 500 ohms for Face and Pro, 7.7 mA for Pro Edition, 9 mA for Pro Plus and GLOW, with a 4 microsecond pulse width.
How to read the table
Published on page means you can find the figure where the device is sold, without leaving the shop.
Filed only means the number exists in the manufacturer's FDA submission and nowhere on the product page.
Not published means we could not find it in either place.
Load stated matters because current through skin depends on resistance, so a milliamp figure without an ohm figure cannot be lined up against another brand's.
For light devices, the equivalent missing detail is the distance the irradiance was measured at, which no mask brand we examined states.
This comparison sits inside our full map of the category, where we set out all 33 devices we track, what each one carries and what each brand publishes: Nine Technologies on One Dial, What the Rest of the Market Actually Carries.

What the table shows
Six devices out of 33 publish an output figure where the device is sold, and two of those state the conditions it was measured under.
Seven more publish genuine engineering to the FDA and nothing to the buyer, which is the single clearest pattern in this category.
The devices that publish nothing at all are spread across every price point, including the most expensive mask in the set.
Nothing in this table proves any device works, and it does show you which brands are willing to be held to a number.
Figures verified on 21 September 2026 against each brand's own published material and the FDA 510(k) database.
