Frequently asked questions
Is PureLift microcurrent?
No. PureLift is real EMS, designed to create muscle contraction in the milliamp range. Some older retail and regulatory language uses broader electrical-stimulation or microcurrent terminology, so describe the mechanism precisely and consistently: this is EMS.
Does a stronger sensation mean a better device?
Not necessarily. Output, waveform, contact, current distribution and technique all affect what is felt. The objective is controlled, repeatable muscle engagement, not the most dramatic surface pull.
Why does frequency modulation matter?
A repeated electrical pattern becomes easy for the nervous system to anticipate (neural accommodation), and the muscle stops responding at full strength. PureLift varies frequency across 361 points to keep the muscle engaged from minute one to minute ten.
Is Pro + the strongest PureLift device?
Pro + lists up to 9 mA and ~29% more output than Face and Pro. GLOW shares the same 9 mA headline while adding red and blue LED on the PDM++ waveform.
Can I combine EMS with RF or LED?
The technologies address different layers and can be complementary; GLOW combines EMS and LED for exactly this reason. Follow the instructions and timing for each device, and consult a clinician for medical or skin concerns.
